Stage Five Partners with FuriosaAI to Build an AI-Embedded Telecom Platform

Oct 28, 2025

- High-performance NPU technology combined with MVNO/MVNE expertise to realize AI-native telecom infrastructure

- AI embedded across AICC, BSS/OSS automation, and security to support global market expansion

FuriosaAI, an AI semiconductor company, and Stage Five, an AI-native telecom platform provider, have announced a strategic collaboration to jointly develop a modular MVNE platform with AI embedded across the entire telecom stack. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding on the 28th and plan to apply AI across key telecom domains—including AI Contact Centers (AICC), BSS/OSS automation, subscriber security, and fraud detection—to strengthen the AI capabilities of MVNO and MVNE operators and accelerate global market expansion.

Through this partnership, the companies will co-develop AI-driven solutions designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs across major telecom workloads. These initiatives include optimizing contact center operations, automating internal telecom processes such as billing and service activation, and commercializing integrated service packages that combine customer support, billing management, and anti-fraud capabilities.

Leveraging its extensive experience in MVNO and MVNE operations and sales, Stage Five will drive initiatives such as low-latency, cost-efficient AICC, the deployment and operation of automated BSS/OSS systems, and the commercialization of integrated AICC, BSS, OSS, and anti-fraud solution packages. Through these efforts, Stage Five aims to establish AI-centric operational efficiency and a stable data management framework across telecom infrastructure operations. FuriosaAI will contribute its proprietary Neural Processing Unit (NPU) systems—AI-optimized semiconductors—to deliver AI infrastructure tailored for core telecom workloads, including speech-to-text (STT), compact large language models (LLMs), optical character recognition (OCR), and anomaly detection . Building on this technical foundation, the two companies also plan to pursue joint go-to-market and co-sales initiatives to expand into global MVNO markets.

Sangwon Seo, CEO of Stage Five, commented, “This collaboration, which combines AI semiconductor technology with real-world telecom operations expertise, will serve as one of the first concrete examples of an AI-native telecom platform. By embedding AI across the entire telecom infrastructure, we aim to deliver differentiated customer experiences and cost efficiency, while establishing a strong foothold for the global expansion of AI-driven telecom platform services.”
