Stage Five and Seerslab Signed Strategic MOU to Collaborate on AI Glasses and AI Telecom Platform
- Development and launch of a Korea-specific AI glasses model to pioneer the AI device market
- AI-powered telecom services and wearable devices built on vision and voice recognition technologies
- Expansion beyond Korea to drive global adoption of K-AI devices and solutions
Stage Five, an AI-native telecom platform company, announced on the 11th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Seerslab, a specialist in Vision AI solutions, to collaborate on AI wearable devices and AI telecom platform initiatives. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to combine advanced AI technologies with telecom infrastructure to accelerate the development of next-generation communication services and customized device markets.
As part of the collaboration, Stage Five and Seerslab will jointly plan and develop Stage Five–exclusive AI glasses based on Seerslab’s AI glasses technology. The partners also intend to identify collaboration models with industry partners across fashion, sports, entertainment, and technology to introduce tailored wearable devices. The upcoming AI glasses will be designed as an everyday, lifestyle-oriented model, similar in concept to Meta’s Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, and will be developed as a Stage Five–exclusive version based on Seerslab’s AInoon platform. AInoon will be expanded as an open platform capable of supporting collaborations with additional industry partners, starting with Stage Five. Under this partnership, Stage Five will oversee branding and distribution linked to its telecom services, while Seerslab will be responsible for product development and supply.
In addition, Seerslab will participate as an AI technology partner in Stage Five’s AI telecom platform business. The two companies plan to integrate AI wearable devices with telecom services to cultivate a flagship K-AI device model, while expanding their business scope through a network of strategic partners. Seerslab’s vision and voice recognition engines will be applied to Stage Five’s telecom services to deliver differentiated customer experiences, including AI-powered customer support, personalized mobile plan recommendations, and roaming assistant services.
Stage Five plans to begin with a domestic launch and subsequently expand into global distribution and roaming package businesses through international telecom partnerships. By introducing a combined model of AI devices and AI telecom platforms to overseas markets, the company aims to unlock new global growth opportunities centered on K-Tech innovation.
Jinwook Jung, CEO of Seerslab, commented, “We aim to grow Korean-style AI glasses into the next generation of AI devices that extend beyond smartphones. Through AI glasses, we will enhance the value of AI in everyday life and open up new markets.”
Sangwon Seo, CEO of Stage Five, added, “This partnership marks an important step toward leading the next generation of telecom paradigms by combining AI wearables with AI telecom platforms. We will further strengthen our position as an AI communication platform company and accelerate the global expansion of K-AI devices and solutions based on homegrown technologies.”
